Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Assistant to join our team at Medix. As a key member of our clinical research team, you will be responsible for assisting with the conduct of clinical trials, performing venipuncture and other fluid collections, and processing laboratory specimens.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as relevant experience in the life sciences industry. You will also possess strong knowledge of medical terminology, the ability to work as a team player, and excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the conduct of clinical trials, including collection, documentation, and maintenance of clinical data
  • Perform venipuncture, capillary puncture, and other fluid collections within scope of the protocol and local law and regulations
  • Process, package, and ship laboratory specimens as required per protocol and IATA regulations
  • Track, order, and maintain inventory of all laboratory and study-related supplies
  • Enter source data into sponsor's and/or vendor's data portal and resolve basic queries
  • Communicate with coworkers, leadership, study subjects, sponsors, CROs, and vendors under direction of Clinical Research Team
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate and/or technical degree with minimum 1 year of relevant experience in life sciences industry
  • Phlebotomy certification if applicable and required by state law
  • Intramuscular dose administration and preparation if applicable and required by state law
