About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator/Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Medix. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the conduct of clinical trials, performing venipuncture and other fluid collection procedures, and processing laboratory specimens.

As a Clinical Research Coordinator/Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will work closely with the clinical research team to ensure the smooth execution of clinical trials. This includes tracking and ordering supplies, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with study subjects and sponsors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the conduct of clinical trials in accordance with study protocol, GCP, ICH Guidelines, and SOPs
  • Perform venipuncture, capillary puncture, and/or other fluid collection within scope of the protocol and local law and regulations
  • Process, package, and ship laboratory specimens as required per protocol and IATA regulations, if applicable
  • Track, order, and maintain inventory of all laboratory and study-related supplies throughout the course of the clinical trial
  • Enter source data into sponsor's and/or vendor's data portal and resolve basic queries in a timely manner under the direction of the Clinical Research Coordinator
Requirements
  • High School Graduate and/or technical degree with minimum 1 year of relevant experience in life sciences industry
  • Phlebotomy certification if applicable and required by state law
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and ability to use technology such as computers, Microsoft Office software, fax, copier, and multi-line telephone
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
