Daily Responsibilities
- Assist guests with various rental requests, including bicycles, sandboards, and beach equipment.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of available gear and communicate this effectively to guests.
- Keep a detailed log of all rented and returned items to ensure accountability.
- Ensure that all guests complete liability waivers prior to equipment rental.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the Gear Shop, including sanitizing equipment and maintaining a tidy environment.
- Coordinate with maintenance for any necessary repairs on rental items.
- Work closely with supervisors to manage overdue rentals and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, providing information about rental options and local attractions.
- Maintain the aesthetic appeal of park amenities, such as the Putting Course and Game Room.
- Utilize technology systems for efficient operations.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
- Ability to seek assistance when needed and communicate effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends.
- Commitment to fostering a fun and engaging atmosphere for guests.
- Focus on guest needs, maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor.
