Job Title: Personal Lines Account Manager

At United Insurance, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and driving business growth through new sales and account management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a professional connection between clients, the agency, and company underwriter.
  • Review and process mail using established procedures and protocols.
  • Respond to daily telephone calls and requests for policy-related services.
  • Request policy amendments and new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and communicate quotes to customers regarding policies, costs, and obligations.
  • Keep accurate records of client activity and document files for follow-up.
  • Check monthly renewal lists and make necessary changes to coverages.
  • Process invoices to clients and work with the accounting department to ensure accurate billing.
Requirements:
  • Receive and maintain appropriate agent licensing.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer relationship building.
Work Environment:

The physical demands of this position require regular talking and hearing, frequent use of hands and fingers, and occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds. The work environment is typically low to moderate noise level.
