Position Overview
We are in search of a dedicated Restaurant Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our front of house services. This role encompasses overseeing daily service, managing operational and administrative responsibilities, and enhancing guest relations and hospitality. The ideal candidate will inspire, train, and lead our front of house team to achieve the restaurant's goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Be prepared to step into any front of house role as needed, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of each position.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage offerings.
- Participate in opening and closing procedures on a rotating basis.
- Supervise the front of house staff, facilitating their training and development, including creating training materials and conducting assessments.
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings and various training sessions to ensure operational excellence.
- Support the team during service, managing front door operations and assisting with floor service.
- Collaborate with management in all areas essential for the restaurant's success.
- Ensure compliance with cleaning and safety standards throughout the establishment.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of private events held at the restaurant.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-quality dining environment with frequent menu updates, including at least 1 year in a management capacity.
- Familiarity with reservation and POS systems such as Resy and Toast.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and self-assurance.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Prior training in sanitation and alcohol safety.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Creative problem-solving capabilities.
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
