Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Entegee. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing structural engineering support, including building assessments, code reviews, and safety evaluations in an industrial facility setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough building assessments and structural evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform in-depth code reviews and interpret regulatory requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Respond promptly to emergent safety-related issues in industrial settings, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Investigate unplanned events and conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze and develop structural specifications for metals, non-metallic, or composite materials to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement structural solutions for product design, durability, stability, and stress fatigue analysis.

Requirements:

  • ABET-accredited Engineering degree.
  • 5+ years of experience with BS, 3+ years with MS, or 0+ years with PhD in a related field.
  • Proven experience in structural engineering evaluations and building assessments.
  • Expertise in code review and interpretation, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Critical thinking and analytical abilities.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with CAD software, such as CATIA, IDEAS, or ProEngineer.
