About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Executive to join our team at Vets Hired. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for formulating and executing a new business and expansion sales strategy within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities within complex enterprises
  • Build strong relationships with CXO and VP-level contacts to drive new business acquisition and expansion growth
  • Collaborate with our partner and channel teams to generate opportunities and maximize deal sizes
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, working closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Development Representatives, Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Partner/Channel, Legal, and Finance
Requirements
  • 5+ years of field sales experience, preferably in the SaaS space
  • A proven track record of success selling into net new Fortune 500 accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to overachieve quota ($1M+ ARR)
  • Strong understanding of complex enterprise technologies and ability to articulate business value to a wide range of personas
  • Possess a strong desire to succeed and a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Experience using CRM software and a strong understanding of sales methodologies such as MEDDIC
  • Preferred experience with VMware, Microsoft, and/or Citrix, or other work in the IT industry
