The Investment Portfolio Manager will play a crucial role alongside the Senior Portfolio Manager in overseeing investment-grade fixed income portfolios.

This position will support the Senior Portfolio Manager as required and may assist in executing policies and programs sanctioned by management and the investment committee.

Additionally, the Investment Portfolio Manager will collaborate with the team on various projects as directed.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:
- Actively engage in the formulation of portfolio investment strategies
- Represent the Senior Portfolio Manager in meetings and presentations as necessary
- Execute trades involving various bond types, including Treasury, Corporate, Mortgage-Related, and Asset-Backed securities
- Conduct thorough research on fixed income securities and provide trade recommendations
- Perform both qualitative and quantitative analyses on portfolios
- Liaise with brokers, custodians, and internal partners regarding trading-related matters
- Prepare regular portfolio reports
- Ensure adherence to investment guidelines
- Communicate strategies, positioning, and performance updates to senior management consistently
If you possess the following qualifications, we encourage you to consider this opportunity:
- MBA/MA or equivalent experience

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in investment research, fixed income trading, and portfolio management within an investment management organization or similar financial institution.

- CFA charter is highly preferred
- Proficient in Excel and Bloomberg
- Strong understanding of fixed income markets and related securities
- Familiarity with fixed income analytics systems (e.g., BondEdge, Yieldbook, Point, PORT, etc.)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
