Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Manager to join our team at Geneve Int. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the structuring and operational implementation of new and existing donor facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and implementation of processes to operationalize donor facilities, working across IFC with colleagues in Legal, Credit, Risk, Budget, and other areas.
  • Support Department staff to raise new funds, providing oversight on developing proposals, obtaining accreditation or registration of IFC as an implementing entity, negotiating facility terms, and negotiating administrative fees.
  • Ensure overall coordination and harmonization of facility management practices across the increasing number of Blended Finance facilities of varying complexity and across different themes.
  • Streamline and standardize Facility Reporting to donors.
  • Create a system to review and assess financial performance across the portfolio of IFC investments that use blended finance, monitoring the results of different investment structures.
  • Coordinate IFC's program activities for the IDA Private Sector Window, including with IDA's Development Finance team.

Requirements

  • MBA or other Graduate degree, specialization in finance strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of private sector investment and concessional finance, alongside an understanding of the role of MDB/DFIs in private sector investment.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in working on cross-border emerging market investments with a track record of leading the structuring, execution, and supervision of investments.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing programmatic approaches and innovations in portfolio analysis and management of complex investment transactions.
  • Ability to master IFC's investment and portfolio management processes, including loan and investment documentation, accounting, and financial statement analysis.
