Arista Networks, Inc. is seeking an experienced Hardware Support Engineer to join their team. As a key contributor to ensuring the quality and reliability of our hardware products, you will work hands-on in a lab environment and use advanced diagnostic tools to support cutting-edge networking solutions.

About the RoleThis challenging role involves frequent interaction with cross-functional teams to address and resolve hardware challenges, from first-level failure analysis to supporting prototype distributions.
Responsibilities- Conducting thorough first-level failure analysis and bug fixes on shipping ODM and CM products, working closely with the sustaining team.
- Performing PCBA bring-up using tools such as multimeters, signal analyzers, oscilloscopes, and voltage/current sources.
- Executing EDVT measurements and processes.
- Setting up and running network traffic test equipment.
- Supporting EFT shipments and prototype distribution.
- Performing basic PCB component rework and mechanical assembly/disassembly.
- Summarizing data for engineering reviews.
- Supporting simple system debugging, running diagnostic commands, and probing signals with oscilloscopes or multimeters.
- Programming and updating system programmable devices, such as CPLDs, FPGAs, microcontrollers, and onboard power supplies.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent degree.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in hardware lab environments, including proficiency with oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Experience in debugging networking hardware.
- Hands-on expertise in reworking connectors, ICs, and passive components such as resistors and capacitors.
- Familiarity with Linux and other command-line environments.
- Experience collaborating with hardware and software engineers to set up and run complex measurements or tests.
- Working knowledge of PC systems.
- Proficiency in assembling and configuring PC hardware.
$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
