In this role, you will be expected to perform a variety of essential functions that contribute to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. The following duties outline your primary responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external guests, embodying the #AddLife culture in every interaction.
- Encourage a supportive and motivating atmosphere for fellow Team Members.
- Conduct thorough cleaning tasks, including but not limited to carpets, windows, gaming machines, offices, restrooms, and outdoor areas, as directed by the Lead Housekeeper.
- Utilize checklists and guidelines to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations in assigned areas.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and arrive punctually.
- Comply with OSHA and Hazcom safety protocols.
- Assist in the receipt of equipment and supplies, coordinating their distribution and storage.
- Help maintain all storage areas, ensuring proper equipment upkeep and chemical labeling.
- Monitor the condition of cleaning equipment and utilize it correctly to maintain its functionality.
- Address issues within your authority and recommend solutions for matters beyond your scope to your supervisor.
- Keep your supervisor informed of relevant activities and developments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, each Team Member is required to adhere to the following compliance-related duties:
- Attend mandatory training sessions provided by the Company.
- Obtain and maintain necessary licenses.
- Execute job responsibilities in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Ensure that minors are not permitted to engage in gambling activities or access restricted areas.
- Stay informed about the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relevant to your department.
- Be knowledgeable about the Property's initiatives to address problem gaming.
- Report any observed misconduct or violations.
A High School Diploma or GED is required. Previous experience of three to six months is preferred. Candidates should be able to work in environments with exposure to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varying light conditions.
Licenses and Certifications:
Virginia Racing Commission License is required.
