Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Floor Maintenance Associate to join our team at Market Basket Foods. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our store floors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strip and refinish floors to maintain a high level of cleanliness and appearance
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties, including shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish
  • Perform routine maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities
  • Notify management of any maintenance needs or repairs

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
