Job Overview

Airport Drayage, a family-owned business with 63 years of experience in Portland, is seeking an exceptional diesel mechanic to join our team. This part-time role involves managing our fleet of 40-50 power units and 40-50 non-power units to ensure reliability and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and repair vehicles with diesel engines
  • Perform routine repairs, including oil and tire changes
  • Prepare annual maintenance reports for all assets
  • Analyze diagnostic test results accurately
  • Create detailed inspection reports and repair plans
  • Collaborate with other diesel mechanics to develop creative solutions
Requirements:
  • Class B CDL
  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Compensation:

$36.00 - $38.00 per hour. Work schedule: 8-hour shifts, 2-3 days per week. Location: Portland, OR 97220. We look forward to meeting you
