Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and underwrite consumer loan applications in compliance with the bank's established procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence during the loan application process.
  • Maintain the high standards of customer service expected by Wintrust for both internal and external clients.
  • Facilitate loan closings and ensure timely funding.
  • Address customer transaction requests promptly.
  • Follow up with clients regarding any missing documentation required for loan applications.
  • Prepare loan maturity notifications and manage third-party invoice submissions.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in banking or consumer loan processing is preferred; experience with HELOC is advantageous.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High organizational skills and effective time management with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with various loan documentation, banking processing standards, best practices, and audit controls.
  • Knowledge of nCino, Salesforce, and/or FIS is a plus.
