Position Summary:

Process Quality Technician I - Day Shift

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00+ DOE + $0.50/hr wage increase eligible after 90 days
  • Employer subsidized on-site medical clinic
  • Paid Break and Lunch

The Process Quality Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the quality team and production staff by utilizing troubleshooting techniques to address quality-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct audits and inspections in Print, Bindery, Packaging, and Mailroom as per training materials. (15%)
  • Inspect problematic production runs and perform quality tests on equipment, including motion quality, signal strength, and MICR sampling. (10%)
  • Assess and quantify spoilage. (10%)
  • Assist production teams with quality inquiries. (10%)
  • Generate and process samples for Quality Control Systems (QCS). (10%)
  • Engage in research and root cause analysis. (10%)
  • Participate in daily Team Business Meetings as the quality representative. (10%)
  • Perform additional duties as assigned. (5%)
  • Identify and research late work. (10%)
  • Generate reports ready for sorting. (10%)
Equipment & Software:
  • Computer, keyboard, and mouse
  • Proficiency in MS Office
Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient typing skills
  • Willingness to learn and enhance knowledge of quality responsibilities
  • Strong technical and computer proficiency
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage confidential information
Communication:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Quality Control Systems, Account Managers, and Priority One Managers
  • Regular interaction with team members to share information both on the production floor and during Team Business Meetings.
Decision Making:
  • Capability to make informed decisions in collaboration with the shift Team Leader
Additional Information:

Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00+ DOE + $0.50/hr wage increase eligible after 90 days

The final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors, including skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
