Position Overview: Entry-Level Quality Control Technician
Department: Quality Assurance
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute precise mechanical, physical, and visual evaluations of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies in accordance with inspection protocols and specifications.
- Support PCI activities for NA Notifications as required.
- Follow procedural guidelines to ensure compliance with relevant Quality System Regulations (e.g., cGMP adherence).
- Assist in the archival process of paper documents, including preparing shipments and digitizing documents for electronic storage.
- Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary and aid in NC and CAPA initiatives.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate's or Technical Degree is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and data entry tasks.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and comprehend instructions.
- Knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA standards is advantageous.
Experience:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
- Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
Travel Expectations:
- Minimal travel is typically required.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to perform job functions in an office setting.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and data entry.
- Manual dexterity for operating standard office equipment.
- Capability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
