Yoh, a leading staffing firm, is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Survey Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our survey operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing survey field crews, CAD Drafters, Survey Technicians, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality survey projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the development and oversight of survey field crews, CAD Drafters, Survey Technicians, and support staff to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels across all teams and business units to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist in managing the financial aspects of survey projects, including contract preparation, generating billing reports, managing invoicing, and overseeing collections.
  • Perform detailed boundary analysis and computations for various survey types using cutting-edge software tools to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversee construction stakeout services to ensure meticulous field setup and stringent quality control measures to meet project specifications and timelines.
  • Conduct thorough quality control reviews of all survey documents, including plans, plots, descriptions, and title commitment reports, to ensure adherence to project requirements and client expectations.
  • Provide invaluable support in client meetings, conference calls, and coordination efforts to foster strong client relationships and enhance project outcomes.
  • Actively contribute to business development initiatives by identifying potential clients, attending marketing events/conferences, and nurturing existing client relationships to drive growth opportunities.
  • Assist in contract preparation and provide daily oversight of project workflow, staffing, and deadlines under the guidance of the Project Manager to ensure project milestones are achieved effectively.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in surveying, with demonstrated leadership abilities and 2-3 years of management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (or equivalent working experience).
  • Exhibit proficiency in utilizing advanced surveying software tools, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, to drive project success and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all organizational levels.
  • Showcase strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to thrive in fast-paced environments and effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Display excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Show a proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and exceeding client expectations.
  • Embrace technology and demonstrate proficiency in using various computer applications and software tools to support survey operations effectively.
