Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Supervisor for our round-the-clock dry ice manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring optimal equipment functionality and regulatory compliance within our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the maintenance team to uphold safety protocols that protect all personnel and visitors.
  • Analyze mechanical and operational challenges, guiding the planning and execution of corrective measures as part of the plant's leadership team.
  • Oversee the documentation and adherence to Process Safety Management (PSM) standards.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Engineering to ensure project completion and operational efficiency.
  • Act as the company's representative in interactions with external contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants, including managing procurement processes.
  • Continuously monitor production and process equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop, implement, and sustain a preventative maintenance program, including equipment inspections and inventory management for parts.
  • Maintain certifications for calibrated equipment and ensure comprehensive documentation for all production machinery.
  • Organize the Maintenance Repair Area and any active repair locations.
  • Prepare daily operational plans for maintenance staff.
  • Review Profit and Loss statements and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Adhere to best management practices in hiring, training, evaluating, and motivating team members.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the company's success.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in hydraulics, compressors, mechanics, and PLC troubleshooting is essential.
  • Experience with screw compressors, evaporative cooling towers, and large ammonia refrigeration systems is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds, navigate stairs and ladders, and work in confined spaces around machinery.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background checks is mandatory.
