Lead Educator

KinderCare Education is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Educator to join our team. As a Lead Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our young learners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Mentor: Provide guidance and support to less experienced teachers, modeling best practices and offering constructive feedback.
- Curriculum Implementation: Effectively implement KinderCare's curriculum, tailoring it to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Safe and Nurturing Environment: Create a secure and stimulating environment that fosters children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Parent Partnerships: Build strong relationships with parents, working collaboratively to provide the best possible care and education for their children.
- Center Success: Contribute to the success of your center by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
- Community Building: Develop positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
- Child Development Associate: Possess an active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
- State Trainer: Approved state trainer (preferred).
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Experience: 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred).
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- State Guidelines: Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
- Physical Demands: Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
- Communication: Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
