Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Senior Registered Nurse Supervisor F/C at the North Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and clinical skills to oversee the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to nursing care and treatment.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate expectations, provide feedback, and address concerns.
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing service to ensure compliance with established standards, procedures, and policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve treatment planning and psychiatric function for residents.
  • Provide consultation to other departments to enhance information and improve continuity of care.
  • Identify and investigate problems affecting nursing care and report them to the Registered Nurse Consultant or designee.
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Florida Statute 464.
  • Three years of Registered Nursing experience or Master's of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Two or more years of supervision experience preferred.
