About the Role

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Office Associate to join our Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and organized individual to handle patient check-in and check-out processes, scheduling appointments, and collecting patient copays. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the E-message pool, responding to patient inquiries, and verifying insurance information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver excellent patient service and ensure a positive experience
  • Manage patient flow, schedule appointments, and collect copays
  • Process E-messages, respond to patient inquiries, and verify insurance information
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
