Fire Alarm Technician Job Description

At Impact Fire Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for providing inspections, installations, and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage time to complete maximum amount of service, inspection, and installation calls while maintaining high level of quality.
  • Achieve weekly productivity goals assigned by Fire Alarm Manager or designated Agent.
  • Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing.
  • Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.
Requirements:
  • Experience installing, inspecting and servicing fire alarm systems.
  • Applicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
  • Texas Fire Alarm (FAL) is required.
  • Ability to learn applicable installation, inspection, and servicing codes.
