Under general supervision, the technician will conduct high-quality echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds in accordance with ICAEL and ICAVL accredited standards. This role involves close collaboration with cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and radiologists. The technician must demonstrate initiative and independent judgment, possessing a thorough understanding of techniques and patient positioning to ensure the production of high-quality ultrasound images.
Individuals in this position will engage with diverse patient populations, including adults and geriatric patients. There may be exposure to infections from contact with patients, as well as potential contact with processing chemicals and other hazardous materials. Work hours may vary, requiring flexibility for overtime and on-call duties. The role is physically demanding, necessitating significant standing, bending, and lifting.

Must hold registration in one modality and achieve registration in the other modality within 6 months.
