Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
Excela Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care on our Medical/Surgical/Cardiovascular Telemetry unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering direct care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring, utilizing the nursing process to provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote physical and emotional health
Requirements:
- Current PA RN license
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- ACLS certification completed within one year of hire/transfer
- Minimum of one year of experience in a Medical/Surgical/Cardiovascular Telemetry unit
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Work Environment:
The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity in a rapidly changing environment.
Physical Demands:
The Registered Nurse will be required to stand for long periods, walk, and move about the unit as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 20 pounds, push and pull equipment, and work in a variety of environments, including patient rooms and common areas.
