Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Clinical Services: Oversee the delivery of clinical services to patients in their homes, ensuring that care is provided in accordance with physician orders and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide Clinical Services: Provide nursing care to patients in their homes, as prescribed by physicians and in compliance with state laws governing the practice of nursing.
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Ensure that patient needs are continually assessed and care rendered is individualized to patient needs, appropriate and reasonable, meets home health eligibility criteria, and is in accordance with physician orders.
  • Manage Patient Referrals: Receive referrals, ensure appropriate clinician assignments, evaluate patient orders, and plot start of care visits.
  • Coordinate Insurance Approvals: Coordinate determination of patient home health benefits, medical necessity, and ongoing insurance approvals.
Requirements
  • Current RN Licensure: Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • CPR Certification: Must have current CPR certification.
  • Driver's License: Must have a current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
