Position Overview:

This is an ongoing recruitment for both Full-Time and Part-Time roles on our Evening and Night Shifts.

We are currently looking for empathetic, skilled, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are eager to build meaningful connections and provide exemplary care to our veteran residents. The ideal candidates will assist with daily living activities, monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, and collaborate with licensed nursing staff to enhance care and service delivery.

Work Schedule:

We offer part-time and full-time positions with benefits on our Evening (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm) and Night (11:15 pm - 7:15 am) shifts, including alternating weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct care to residents and assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, mobility support, dressing, and feeding.
  • Document resident metrics, including weights, intake and output, and other relevant information as assigned.
  • Accompany residents to appointments and recreational activities.
  • Support nursing staff during examinations and treatments, ensuring safety and comfort for residents.
  • Participate in the development of resident care plans by providing accurate data and insights to nursing staff.
  • Identify urgent care situations and promptly seek assistance from nursing staff or physicians.
  • Foster supportive relationships with residents and their families to encourage positive interactions.
  • Maintain a safe environment for quality care by adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Engage in training sessions and team meetings as required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Current certification as a Nurse Aide in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • CPR certification from a recognized provider.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact tactfully with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience caring for geriatric patients in a healthcare environment.
  • Certification in specialized areas such as dementia or hospice care.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, families, and team members.
  • Attention to detail and readiness to respond appropriately in various situations.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and handling confidential information.
  • Competence in using computers for work-related tasks.
Emergency Requirements:
This position is classified as emergency personnel. Employees may be required to report to work during declared emergencies or adverse weather conditions.
