Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the coordination of electrical engineers and multidisciplinary teams throughout project development
  • Establish and maintain client relationships, participating in marketing, design, and production meetings related to electrical systems
  • Assume electrical lead roles on multiple projects, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results
  • Participate in reviews with governing agencies to ensure code compliance
  • Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at project sites, collaborating with project managers, architects, and other disciplines
  • Coordinate workload to complete documents on schedule, tracking financial aspects and adjusting work efforts as needed
  • Work closely with project managers and regional controllers for project reviews with corporate management
  • Direct the activities of other electrical engineering professionals and act as a mentor to junior staff members
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
  • 10 years of experience in electrical design, with expertise in water and wastewater projects
  • Previous experience in an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm is desired
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting, and signal design, including life safety systems and building management systems
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, as well as electrical design software

The expected compensation range for this position depends on skills, experience, education, and geographical location. (Benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Pay transparency: $111,650 - $159,500.
