Plasma Center Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also contributing to the success of our plasma collection center.
Key Responsibilities- Donor Eligibility
- Determine donor eligibility accurately and in a timely manner, taking into account medical history, physical examination, and laboratory test results.
- Evaluate and manage donor reactions, ensuring prompt and effective response to any medical emergencies.
- Manage donor deferral, reviewing test results and notifying donors of unsuitable test results.
- Initiate and investigate Post Donation Information (PDI).
- Education and Experience
- Graduate of a recognized educational program.
- Minimum of two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Current licensure or certification as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN or LVN).
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification required.
