Job Summary

This position oversees compliance to the policies, procedures, and work instructions contained in the quality management system. The Quality Assurance Representative is responsible for exercising the disposition of material placed in the Material Review Bay and serving as a resource to Plant personnel as a trainer on quality system documents and record-keeping duties to show compliance to system requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document and data control oversight in Plant, ownership and maintenance of measurement devices, corrective and preventive actions, and their follow-ups, oversight of quality records held in Plant, process auditing for compliance to procedures, implementing statistical control of equipment and processes.
  • Responsible for accurate information and timely processing of non-conforming material.
  • Quality Assurance Representative does not own responsibility for all Plant training; Quality Assurance Representative will act as trainer on quality department documents.
  • Responsible to ensure proper records are maintained for gages, nonconforming material, inspection forms, stamp logs, etc.
  • Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies.
Requirements:
  • Good written and verbal skills are required. Quality Assurance Representative must be detail-oriented to the requirements of our Quality Management System. Quality system training is preferred, but not required. Desire for additional formal training should exist.
  • Must have rudimentary computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Should have exposure to a fast-paced warehouse environment, and be comfortable with short task completion expectations. Ability to work with a diversified workforce required. Ability to effectively interact with Plant Operations Supervisors and Managers required.
  • Formal quality training is preferred, but not required. Additional training as determined by the Quality Supervisor.
Preferred Requirements:
  • ASQ certification.
  • 3 years Quality Assurance/Control experience.
  • Experience or training in ISO 9001:2015 or AS9100 quality standards.
Available Schedule:

M-Th 4am-2:30pm

Pay:

$22.00/hr. ($22.00-$25.50)

  • Holiday Pay: For a 5-day 8-hour shift you will receive up to 88 hours of holiday pay, for a 4-day 10-hour shift, you will receive up to 80 hours of holiday pay, and for a 3-day 12-hour shift you will receive up to 72 hours of holiday pay depending on the date of hire and the holiday schedule posted as it changes yearly.
