Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including blood banking, chemistry, hematology, immunohematology, and microbiology.
  • Collect and process blood and other specimens for testing.
  • Operate and maintain complex laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers and microscopes.
  • Analyze and report test results, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) from a recognized accrediting agency.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
