About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator - Trench Specialist to join our team at Sunstate Equipment Co. As a Fabricator - Trench Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling heavy equipment components, including trenches, using various welding techniques and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble heavy equipment components, including trenches, using electric arc, gas welding, and brazing techniques.
  • Ensure high-quality control and attention to detail in all work produced.
  • Use mathematics to solve problems and confirm measurements.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing, for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Previous welding experience, including electric arc, gas welding, and brazing.
  • AWS or similar certification.
  • Experience with using mathematics to solve problems and confirm measurements.
  • High-quality control and attention to detail.
  • Previous mechanical knowledge of construction equipment is a plus.
