Job Title: Certified Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency team at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) in Racine, WI.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our veterinary team, and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including phlebotomy, medication calculations, and radiology positioning.
  • Collaborate with our veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance technical skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and mutual respect.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting.
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Strong technical skills, including phlebotomy, medication calculations, and radiology positioning.
