Job Title: Certified Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency team at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) in Racine, WI.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our veterinary team, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to veterinarians and veterinary technicians in the emergency and specialty departments
  • Assist with patient care, including phlebotomy, medication administration, and radiology procedures
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong technical skills, including phlebotomy, medication calculations, and radiology positioning
