Job Title: Certified Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency team at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) by Ethos Veterinary Health in Racine, WI.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our veterinary team, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to veterinarians and veterinary technicians during medical procedures
  • Assist with patient care, including phlebotomy, medication administration, and radiology
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and treatment
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong technical skills, including phlebotomy, medication calculations, and radiology positioning
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate: $23-35/hour, depending on experience
  • Sign-on bonus: $1,500 for Certified Veterinary Technicians, depending on experience
