About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Security Service Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our security services team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and servicing intrusion, IP CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems from multiple manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Locate and resolve issues with damaged equipment or wiring.
  • Readjust, repair, or replace inoperative equipment, and test for operation.
  • Coordinate inspections and/or installations with relevant authorities.
  • Perform repair and/or inspections of intrusion detection, IP CCTV, Access Control systems, and fire alarms.
  • Assist fellow service technicians with system repairs and complete minor repairs, including battery replacement.
  • Test operation of the system to the customer monitoring center to establish service connectivity.
  • Complete all forms accurately and customer paperwork as required.
Requirements
  • A university degree and 1 year of suggested minimum experience, or a 2-year degree and 6 years of suggested minimum experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent general knowledge of major security manufacturer platforms.
  • A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • The ability to pass thorough background and identity checks.
  • The ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • The ability to unload ladders from the fleet vehicle and climb a ladder.
  • The ability to always operate fleet vehicles in a safe manner.
  • The ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.
