Job Summary

As a key member of our team, the Physician Office Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice. This includes coordinating patient flow, managing facility operations, and overseeing registration, collections, and scheduling processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative experience, with a minimum of one year of medical office experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with courses in medical terminology and healthcare office management being a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations, including patient flow, facility management, and registration
  • Supervise office workflow and environment on a daily basis
  • Responsible for coordinating day-to-day functions of the practice and operations
  • Ensure an efficient, professional, and productive environment for employees and patients
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of administrative experience
  • Medical office experience preferred
  • Ability to operate various office equipment, including computers, calculators, and photocopiers
  • Knowledge of business office procedures
  • Ability to communicate and work with practice managers and physicians
Work Environment

The Physician Office Coordinator will work in a fast-paced medical office environment, with frequent sitting, stooping, bending, and stretching. The role requires long periods of working at a computer, with intermittent walking and standing. The ability to lift or move items up to 25 pounds is also required.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under stressful conditions and meet deadlines. Travel may be required for this role.
