Position Overview

Role: Engineering Manager
Department: Engineering
Reports To: Engineering Director

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and performance assessments.
  • Oversee the design, development, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timeline standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to drive project success.
  • Establish and implement engineering processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and innovation.
  • Manage project budgets, resource distribution, and timelines to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to advance engineering capabilities and product quality.
  • Encourage a collaborative and innovative team environment that supports professional growth.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred) or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in an engineering management capacity, with a history of successful project execution.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, capable of motivating a diverse workforce.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic approach.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
  • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is advantageous.
