Job Summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our team in the Department of Radiation Oncology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating radiation treatment plans under the direction of our Radiation Oncologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and generate treatment plans by performing multiple steps of the treatment planning workflow.
  • Import images, segment, register images, design and develop plans, perform dosimetry calculations, and quality control treatment plans generated by other Medical Dosimetrists.
  • Perform radiation dosimetry calculations in situations where images are unable to be acquired and support the continuity of care for patients who have received radiation therapy.
  • Participate in the education and research missions of the Medical Center through active participation in clinical education and clinical projects.
  • Submit data to investigator-initiated research studies and clinical trials.
Requirements
  • Board Certified by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board within 2 years of hire.
  • 0 years of relevant experience required, 1+ years of dosimetry experience preferred.
  • Meets standards and competencies of the job as assigned and required. Maintains board certification by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board.
