We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team at Mount Carmel Health System. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective treatment of patients with cancer.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and execute the Radiation Oncology Quality Assurance program
  • Ensure compliance with all radiation safety policies, guidelines, and regulations
  • Provide quality control checks and oversight of treatment plans to assure accurate treatment delivery
  • Assist with acquisition and evaluation of new equipment
  • Develop and implement new treatment techniques
  • Participate in Clinical Trials
  • Consult with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Therapists to ensure safe and effective treatment of patients
Requirements

We are looking for a Medical Physicist with a M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics and American Board of Radiology (or equivalent) certification, or complete certification within 3 years of hire. The ideal candidate will have experience in Radiation Oncology and a strong understanding of radiation safety policies and guidelines.
