Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Culinary Instructor to join our team at Daytona State College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in culinary arts, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in culinary arts, including cuisine and food preparation
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with college and departmental policies
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students
  • Work with other faculty and staff to review and select course materials
  • Provide input on curriculum development and program assessment
Requirements
  • Masters degree in hospitality management or related field
  • Associate degree in culinary management or ACF certification, CEC or CCE credentials desirable
  • Prior teaching experience desirable
  • Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, temporary assignment (for no more than one semester at a time) dependent upon student enrollment and the instructional needs of the College.
