Field Sales Representative

Savvas Learning Company LLC is a leading education company that empowers educators and engages students with innovative learning solutions.
We are seeking a part-time Field Sales Specialist to support sales in the Midwest market, specifically in Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
This role will require attending on-site customer meetings in the listed states and candidates must reside within a commutable distance to be considered.
Responsibilities:- Implement project components under the direction of the local Account Manager.
- Oversee projects related to marketing materials, including creating, copying, organizing, collating, or delivering on behalf of an Account Manager or Market Manager.
- Strategically plan sales calls by outlined objectives and action steps from Account Manager.
- Participate in customer calls with an Account Manager to answer questions and assist with sales.
- Perform customer outreach calls on behalf of Account Manager to follow up on product delivery or answer additional customer questions.
- Respond to customers' requests and problems with appropriate timeliness and concern, developing professional credibility and trust with the customer.
- Prepare materials needed for conferences, meetings, or lunch & learn events.
- Assist with various pre-presentation activities, such as tabbing books, setting up displays, and transporting materials to evaluation sites.
- Maintain records, prepare forms, verify information, and resolve routine problems.
- Provide general administrative or clerical assistance.
- B.A. degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- K-12 classroom or curriculum experience preferred.
- Experience in a sales-driven, quality-oriented organization preferred.
- Proven experience networking with and influencing decision makers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, strong organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Computer skills with knowledge of Google Drive, Word, and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills.
