Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team at Sierra Forest Products. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor trailer and straight truck as needed, adhering to all applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection logs, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Fill reports, including driver logbook, inspection report, maintenance and repair reports, accident, or incident reports.
  • Greet customers in a positive and professional manner.
Requirements
  • A valid AZ license.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience behind the wheel.
  • A clean Driver's Abstract Report.
  • Flexibility to start between 4am and 7am.
  • Physical ability to drive a truck for long periods and perform tasks such as opening and closing curtains on the trailer, strapping and securing the load.
