About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Light Duty Construction Technician to join our team at D&H United Fueling Solutions. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of fueling systems, including underground and aboveground tanks, fuel dispensers, and spill containment systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct construction projects, including concrete removal and replacement, manhole and spill containment replacements
  • Framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing small portions of concrete
  • Operate equipment such as company work trucks, skid steers, forklifts, and man-lifts, following all equipment and company safety protocols
  • Ensure safe housekeeping practices are followed at all times, including job cleanup at the end of each day
  • Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in proper and safe working order
  • Verify accuracy and compliance of tasks in progress to comply with codes, project specifications, and manufacturer requirements
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors to maintain a timely flow of supplies, materials, and sub-contractor work
Requirements
  • A/B Operator Certification is a significant advantage, but we will provide training
  • Previous experience installing petroleum systems or performing fuel polishing is highly desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in construction or trades is required, with concrete experience being a significant plus
  • Class A CDL and heavy equipment operation experience is preferred, and we will assist in obtaining a Class A CDL
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is highly beneficial
  • Troubleshooting skills and logical problem-solving skills are essential
  • Strong communication skills and customer relations skills are required
Other Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
  • Pass a background check, drug test, and DOT card is required
