Job Summary

Barclays is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the transformation of our digital loan servicing landscape. As the Vice President of Wholesale Lending Operations, you will be responsible for driving innovation and operational excellence by leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance our digital offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Wholesale Lending processes and procedures to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.
  • Monitor the bank's lending operations to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance to communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Lending Services.

Vice President Expectations:

  • Advise key stakeholders on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
  • Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives.
  • Adopt and include the outcomes of extensive research in problem-solving processes.
  • Seek out, build, and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish key business objectives.
