Ochsner Health System, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking an exceptional Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine nuclear medicine procedures, verifying physician orders, and using radiology information systems to facilitate care. Your expertise will also be utilized to lead departmental programs, protocol development, system standardization, competency validation, safety programs, accreditation, and quality/efficiency initiatives.

This position requires strong interpersonal skills, effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to present information clearly and professionally. You will work closely with junior staff and students, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.

The ideal candidate will possess a completion of an approved nuclear medicine program, registration in Nuclear Medicine by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), or equivalent body as recognized by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Current unrestricted license in state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association are also required.
