**Job Summary**

The Maintenance Technician, Senior position functions as the lead worker of each two-man crew assigned to the Reactive Maintenance Program within the Sewer Maintenance Division. Crews within this program are responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to emergency calls, and conducting repairs to ensure the efficient operation of the water and sewer systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead a two-man crew in performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting equipment, and performing repairs as needed
* Respond to emergency calls and conduct repairs to ensure the efficient operation of the water and sewer systems
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures
* Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
* Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity

**Requirements**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 5+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
* Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in a variety of environments
