About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned professional to join our Strategy team as a Vice President, Brand Strategy. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll drive innovation and growth by delivering high-quality work for our life science industry clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the evolution of our strategy and innovation efforts, developing new approaches and services to enhance our offerings in the marketplace.
  • Facilitate internal improvements to processes, optimizing quality and efficiency while motivating and mentoring others to enhance quality, creativity, and innovative thinking.
  • Staff growth and development, planning and promoting employee growth according to individual skills and agency/market needs.
  • Thought leadership, serving as a subject matter expert for strategic point-of-view on client challenges or marketplace dynamics.
  • Strategic decision-making, making evidence-based decisions that balance business needs and lead discussions between teams to resolve conflict when needed.
  • Influence and alignment, explaining ideas and partnering with teams to gain support and agreement on core ideas/approaches.
  • Cross-functional collaboration, facilitating alignment and decision-making across disciplines to ensure highest quality offerings to clients.
  • Leadership in new business, acting as strategic lead for select new business pitches and consulting early on in the process to uncover client needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years total business experience.
  • 5+ years in healthcare marketing or communications agency experience, with demonstrated career progress focused on expanding engagement and driving innovation.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience developing successful healthcare marketing strategies and execution plans, with previous experience in novel therapeutic areas a plus.
  • Digital marketing expertise, with a focus on leveraging user insights and developing strategies into a digital tactical plan.
  • Demonstrated people management experience and ability to present marketing and strategic plans to important client decision makers.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a collaborative environment.
