Speech-Language Therapy Support Specialist

Aba Therapy Of St Lucie Inc is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a state-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide individual speech and language therapy to children.
Salary & Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $42.50 per hour, with opportunities for bonuses based on performance. We also offer flexible scheduling, professional development assistance, and incentive tiers.
Responsibilities
- Plan and provide individual speech and language therapy to children consistent with speech/language goals under the direction of an SLP.
- Assist with screenings and evaluations as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Administer routine speech and language tests as directed by the supervisor when proper training and administration have been assured.
- Implement documented treatment plans or protocols developed by a supervising SLP.
- Document patient progress toward meeting established objectives and report information back to the SLP.
- Assist the SLP during assessments, including formal documentation, preparing materials, and performing clerical duties.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Florida License. Pediatric experience is also required.
