Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and skilled after-school program facilitators who are passionate about implementing a comprehensive Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum at elementary and middle school locations. You will engage students through interactive activities that enhance self-awareness, self-regulation, social skills, relationship building, and responsible decision-making, while also integrating literacy and fostering an inclusive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience (experience with SEL programs is preferred).
  • Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality.
  • A vibrant personality with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for education.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and gifted learners.
  • Patience and empathy to assist students facing various academic and personal challenges.
  • Respect for students' cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, promoting an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Completion of Mandated Reporting training.
  • Strong references.
