Student Accounts Assistant

As a Student Assistant at the University of La Verne, you will provide project support to Student Account Representatives and assist with daily tasks as assigned. This role is ideal for a current University of La Verne student with Federal Work Study eligibility for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist student accounts representatives with general billing, cashiering/front counter support, mass emails, making inbound/outbound phone calls, account review, scanning, indexing, and spot checking BDMS documents, transact updates, and filing.
- Provide exceptional customer service and work independently.
Requirements
- Must be a current University of La Verne student with Federal Work Study eligibility for the 2024/2025 academic year.
- General office equipment experience.
- Computer program knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently.
Benefits
- One hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum accrual of 24 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year and capped at 48 hours.
- University of La Verne Defined Contribution Retirement Plan - can contribute employee voluntary contributions, excluding wages derived from federal work study funds.
- In accordance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), employees who work an average of 30 or more hours per week, will be eligible for medical coverage through the University of La Verne.
